Parts of an Envelope

When discussing your envelope needs, we may use terms you’ve never heard before: flaps, faces, throats, gum. Sometimes it is hard to tell if we are talking about animal, vegetable, or mineral! The diagram should help identify some of the most common elements of an envelope.

Of course, there are many other terms that Royal Envelope uses as well. If we use one that you do not understand, don’t hesitate to ask us what it means. Good communication is necessary to get the job done right.
